Mark Howes currently serves as the Vice President of Sales for EMEA at BigCommerce, a role held since September 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the EMEA go-to-market function and enhancing sales strategies to improve net revenue retention. Previous roles at BigCommerce include Interim General Manager and Director of Sales for EMEA, along with being the first sales hire in Europe. Mark's experience also encompasses a directorial position at the eCommerce agency CB Squared Ltd and various sales roles at Cromwell Business Systems. A foundational background in sales was established at Howes Cycles, a family business operating since 1840, and early experience was gained as a Sales Assistant at John Lewis & Partners. Additionally, Mark is an Executive Member of Pavilion.
