Sooraj Bhaskaran has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Sooraj is currently working as a Software Engineer at BigBinary since August 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at IEDC GEC Thrissur, including Chief Executive Officer from August 2021 to July 2022, Chief Technical Officer from July 2020 to August 2021, Assistant Marketing Officer from August 2019 to July 2020, and Student Volunteer from January 2019 to July 2019. In addition, Sooraj served as a Student Convenor at the Summer Startup Festival from February 2022 to May 2022 and as an Executive Member at FOSS GECT from October 2019 to March 2022. Sooraj also gained experience as a Software Developer Intern at eXlygenze SenseWorks from September 2021 to January 2022.

Sooraj Bhaskaran completed their secondary school education at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kanhangad from 2003 to 2015. Sooraj then pursued a Senior Secondary Course in Computer Science at Durga HSS Kanhangad from 2015 to 2017. After that, they attended Government Engineering College, Thrissur from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Sooraj Bhaskaran obtained several certifications. In December 2019, they completed the Young Innovator Program offered by Kerala Startup Mission. In February 2020, they became a Green Certified Professional (GCP) through Qwiklabs. Furthermore, they obtained two certifications related to Google Cloud Platform: "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" in May 2021 and "Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services" in June 2021. These certifications were obtained through the online platform Coursera.
