Aristos Doxiadis is an accomplished venture capitalist and policy advisor with extensive experience in investment and startup ecosystems. Currently serving as Partner Emeritus at Big Pi Ventures since June 2018, Aristos focuses on science-based and deep tech startups. In addition, Aristos holds the position of Vice Chair at the National Council for Research Technology and Innovation, advising the Government of Greece since December 2019. As a Partner at Openfund since November 2012, Aristos has played a key role in supporting early-stage technology ventures. Previously, Aristos served as Managing Director at NOTOS ASSOCIATES S.A. from January 2000 to June 2010, providing investment advice to private equity funds, and as Executive Director at COMMERCIAL CAPITAL S.A. from July 1995 to September 1999, which was the private equity arm of Emporiki Bank. Aristos holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies from Harvard University and a Master of Science in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London.
