Andrea Barnes is an experienced professional in quality management and technical communications, currently serving as the Director of Quality Management at Big Metal Additive since September 2020. Andrea successfully established the company's AS9100-compliant Quality Management System within the first year of tenure. Prior to this role, Andrea held positions including Technical Communications Manager, Data Submission Specialist at Littleton Public Schools, and Project Manager at ESCO Corporation, overseeing a global initiative in statistical process control. With a B.S. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, Andrea has further enhanced expertise through multiple certifications, including Six Sigma Black Belt and specialized training in various engineering disciplines.
