Marty Rubino is an experienced advertising professional currently serving as the Managing Principal at Big Cat Advertising since July 2007, where responsibilities include managing account development and strategic direction for a regional agency. Prior to this role, Marty held the position of Executive VP for Northern California at Vineyard Bank, where the focus was on launching the bank's expansion in the region. Marty's extensive background in media includes significant leadership roles at the Marin Independent Journal - MediaNews Group, where responsibilities spanned from Publisher and President to General Manager and Advertising and Marketing Director. Earlier career experience includes advertising sales and management at the Long Beach Press Telegram during its ownership by Knight Ridder. Marty also contributed to academia as a Course Lecturer in Journalism at California State University, Long Beach, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations from the same institution.
