Gloria Bridges, SPHR-CA, has over 30 years of experience in human resources. Gloria most recently served as the Director of Human Resources at Big Canyon Country Club since 2012.

Prior to that, they worked at Pick Up Stix, Inc as the Human Resource Manager from 2000 to 2012. In this role, they managed all aspects of human resources for a 68-store chain of quick-service Asian restaurants, including conducting investigations of employee relations issues, handling EEOC/DFEH charges, and facilitating management training.

From 1997 to 2000, Bridges was the Employee Relations Manager at Krause's Furniture, Inc. Here, they managed all HR functions for 95 showrooms and 10 distribution centers, investigated employee complaints, facilitated management training, and implemented performance management processes.

Before that, Bridges worked at Macy's, Inc as the Human Resource Business Manager from 1996 to 1997. In this role, they were responsible for reporting and budget administration, facilitated the online job requisition system, and designed training programs.

Their career in HR began at The Broadway, where they served as the Human Resource Administrator from 1989 to 1996. Gloria managed all aspects of HR for a department store with 350 employees, implemented an applicant screening process, and represented management to the employee "Board of Directors."

Overall, Bridges has a strong background in managing employee relations, conducting investigations, facilitating training, and implementing HR processes and systems.

Gloria Bridges, SPHR-CA, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UC Irvine, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Gloria received the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification in May 2001 and the Senior Professional in Human Resources California Designation (SPHR-CA) in December 2009.
