Ann Ewing has extensive experience in the legal field, with their most recent role being as Vice President and Corporate Counsel at Big 5 Sporting Goods since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Corporate Counsel at the same company from May 2018 to April 2021. Before joining Big 5 Sporting Goods, Ann was a Deputy City Attorney at the City of Newport Beach from April 2017 to May 2018. Additionally, they worked as an Attorney at Carico Johnson Toomey LLP from December 2015 to April 2017. Ann gained further experience as an Extern at Englander Knabe & Allen from January 2015 to June 2015. Ann also worked as a Law Clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice from August 2014 to December 2014, and as a Law Clerk at the Newport Beach City Attorney's Office from May 2014 to August 2014.

Ann Ewing received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Policy from Duke University from 2002 to 2006. Ann later pursued higher education at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where they earned their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from 2012 to 2015.
