Joshua Bast is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in entomology and public health. Currently serving as Branch Manager at the Defense Centers for Public Health - Aberdeen since May 2023 and as a Data Analyst at BIF Technologies since November 2022, Joshua has previously held significant roles, including Chief of the Entomological Sciences Division at the United States Army Public Health Command from 2018 to December 2022 and Entomologist within the US Army from 2002 to December 2022. Other notable positions include Deputy Director at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research from 2015 to 2018 and Senior Force Health Protection Consultant for US Forces in Afghanistan in 2014-2015. Joshua's educational background includes a Master of Science in Entomology from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of the Ozarks.
