Richard Hales has extensive experience in plant management and operations within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as Plant Manager and Director of Treating Operations at John A. Biewer Co. of Illinois since August 2000, Richard previously held the position of Operations Manager at Miller Building Systems from October 1997 to August 2000, overseeing plant operations as well as the sales and purchasing departments. Richard also managed operations at Atlantic Wood Industries in the pressure treated forest products industry from October 1978 to September 1998. Earlier career experience includes a part-time role as a Machinist/Welder/Fabricator at DynaBil Industries from 1980 to 1985. Richard obtained an Associate of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Columbia-Greene Community College, with additional studies at Indiana University South Bend and Paul D Camp Community College.
