Jodie Plouffe is an experienced medical professional specializing in surgery, currently serving as the Lead APP/Operations Coordinator for General & Bariatric Surgery at Southcoast Health since April 2009. Jodie holds additional responsibilities as a per diem Surgical House Officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth since September 2020. Previously, Jodie worked as a full-time Physician Assistant in surgery at Quincy Medical Center and has held positions in neurology and general surgery at other prominent institutions. Jodie received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and earned dual bachelor's degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Stonehill College. Jodie was honored with the 2019 Provider Partnership Award for outstanding contributions to medical practice.
