Deirdre Carasso currently serves as Kroonlid at Raad voor Cultuur since July 2022 and as Directeur-bestuurder at Bibliotheek Utrecht since November 2020. Previously, Deirdre held the position of Directeur-bestuurder at Stedelijk Museum Schiedam from May 2016 to November 2020 and served for a decade as Hoofd Relatiebeheer en filantropie and Hoofd Educatie en publieksbegeleiding at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam. Earlier experience includes roles at Nationaal Archief, where Deirdre was Hoofd Presentatie en educatie and Projectleider nieuwe website, as well as serving as Hoofd afdeling projecten at Historisch Centrum Overijssel and Directiesecretaris at Nationaal Archief. Deirdre's educational background includes executive education from the Museum Leadership Institute, studies at Archiefschool, and a degree from the University of Amsterdam, alongside completing secondary education at Vossius Gymnasium.
