Isabel Yang has extensive experience in executive roles within various high-profile companies. Starting in 2000, they worked at the IBM Semiconductor Research Center as a Senior Manager and later became a Program Director for Strategic Partnerships, where they facilitated complex partnerships and managed the development of semiconductor roadmaps for advanced technology nodes. In 2007, they joined IBM as the Director of Technology and IP Licensing, where they significantly increased revenue for the company by identifying and opening markets for new technology licenses. Isabel then held several Vice President positions at IBM, including Vice President of Research Strategy, Operations, and Partnerships, Vice President of Corporate Strategy, and Vice President of Worldwide Research Operations. In these roles, they played a crucial role in driving strategic partnerships, transforming product lines, revitalizing performance, and planning and enabling research conducted by thousands of employees globally. From 2018 to 2021, Isabel served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Advanced Energy. Isabel most recently joined KoKo, LLC in 2021 as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Innovation, responsible for driving new product innovation in remote health monitoring, specifically respiratory health, and improving manufacturing processes for clinical respiratory products. In 2022, Isabel joined BI Incorporated as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
Isabel Yang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Isabel also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Material Science and Engineering from the same institution. In 2021, Isabel graduated from the Tech Executive Leadership Initiative at the Aspen Tech Policy Hub.
