Michael White possesses extensive legal expertise in compliance and regulatory matters, currently serving as the Head of Compliance Legal at BHP since October 2019, where additional roles have included Acting VP Ethics & Investigations. Prior to BHP, Michael held the position of Senior Legal Counsel, Compliance at Woodside Energy from July 2013 to October 2019. Previous experience includes a Senior Associate role in Litigation & Regulatory at DLA Piper and various positions at Linklaters, Pinsent Masons, and Phillips Fox, where foundational legal skills were developed. Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting from The University of Queensland.
