Michael Shi is a seasoned professional in project management and civil engineering with over a decade of experience. Currently serving as Lead Project Studies and Lead Project Delivery at BHP since January 2023, Michael is spearheading the civil and bulk earthwork package for an inland solar power project. Prior to this role, Michael spent a decade at Water Corporation, initially as Project Engineer and later as Project Manager, where oversight of water and wastewater assets was paramount. Additional experience includes roles as Contract Manager at Water Corporation and Road Engineer at City of Swan, focusing on infrastructure assessments. Early career experience encompasses a position as Site Project Engineer at Redstone Construction Pty Ltd. Michael holds a Diploma of Project Management from Business Education Institute and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) (Hons) in Civil and Construction Engineering from Curtin University of Technology.
