Christian Darby is an experienced manager in fixed plant maintenance, currently serving as Manager Fixed Plant Maintenance at BHP since September 2014. Prior to this role, Christian held project management and engineering positions at Jacobs, overseeing various feasibility studies for mining projects in Australasia and Southern Africa from September 2008 to September 2014. Christian's career began at Cleveland Potash, where responsibilities included managing mine safety systems and engineering roles in underground production and port operations from August 1993 to August 2008. Christian's academic background includes an MBA from Newcastle University and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Teesside University, complemented by various mechanical and engineering qualifications.
