Avi Ashkenazi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Avi began their career as a Mechanical Engineer in the Israel Defense Forces from 1988 to 1994. Avi then worked as a Unigraphics Software Engineer at McKit Systems from 1994 to 1999. Ashkenazi joined Amdocs in 1999 and held various roles, including Technical Architecture Configurations and Technologies Manager, Director of Information Technology in the Outsourcing Division, Vice President of Information Technology Operations, and Vice President of Billing System Delivery at Amdocs Global Services. During their time at Amdocs, they managed large-scale outsourcing projects for telecom providers and oversaw IT operations, infrastructure, vendor relations, and data center operations. In 2011, Ashkenazi joined BHI as a Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, responsible for enhancing IT performance and overseeing all aspects of information technology and systems. Avi later became the Executive Vice President, Chief Operation Officer, and Chief Information Officer, leading the New York operations of BHI and driving improvement in various departments.
Avi Ashkenazi completed their Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ORT Colleges in the years 1986 to 1988. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, from 1992 to 1996. Additionally, Avi has acquired certifications in ITIL Service Design (ITIL-SD), ITIL Service Operation, and ITIL Service Strategy (ITIL-SS) from HP.
