Julie Jones has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Julie started their career in 2008 as a Volunteer Coordinator at Project Lazarus. In 2010, they joined Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts as a Member Services employee for a period of seven months. Later that year, they transitioned to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, where they held multiple roles. From July 2010 to April 2011, they served as a Patient Benefit Coordinator. Afterward, they became the Manager of Patient Intake & Benefits Enrollment, a position they held for eight years, from April 2011 to March 2019. Their most recent role is the Director of Patient Finance, which they have been holding since April 2019.

Julie Jones completed their education at different institutions. In 2015, they obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in the field of Public Administration from Suffolk University. Prior to that, they attended Sacred Heart University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Sociology. Julie's education journey began at King Philip Regional High School from 2000 to 2004, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned during their time there.
