Sawan Gupta is an experienced telecommunications professional with a robust background in wireless strategy and network engineering. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at Bharti Airtel since December 2008, Sawan Gupta focuses on emerging technologies including 5G NR, NB-IOT, and automation of network planning. Prior to this role, Sawan Gupta worked as a Solution Architect at Nortel Networks, overseeing the BSNL GSM network rollout, and held positions at Nokia Siemens Networks and Tata Teleservices, contributing to successful GSM and CDMA network initiatives. Sawan Gupta began the career as a Customer Support Engineer at RRB Networks. Educational credentials include a BTECH in Electronic & Telecommunications from Nagpur University and completion of an Executive Leadership Course from INSEAD.
