Vinayak Pawar is a seasoned professional in metallurgy and material science with over 19 years of experience, currently serving as the Manager of Metallurgy & Material Science at Bharat Forge Ltd since April 2013. In this role, Vinayak leads a team of 12 metallurgical engineers, overseeing R&D projects from ideation to delivery, and providing technical support across various business units. Vinayak's expertise includes heat treatment, failure analysis, material characterization, and advanced manufacturing techniques. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Manager for Metallurgical Quality Control at Bharat Forge Ltd's Chakan Division, where Vinayak developed induction hardening processes and established an advanced metallurgical laboratory. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering Pune. Additionally, Vinayak is Six Sigma Black Belt Certified.
