Dr. Santosh Bhave has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and administration. Dr. Santosh worked at Bharat Forge Ltd from October 2002 to April 2017, starting as a Senior Vice President and later becoming the Director of HR & IR. Prior to Bharat Forge Ltd, they worked at Indian Organic Chemicals Ltd as the General Manager of HR & Admin from August 1985 to September 2002. Before that, they held the role of Personnel Executive at Dharamsi Murarjee Chemicals Ltd from June 1979 to August 1985. Dr. Bhave also worked as a Personnel Officer at Paper Products Ltd from January 1979 to June 1979, and at Albright,Murarjee and Pandit Ltd from July 1976 to January 1979.

Dr. Santosh Bhave completed their Ph.D. in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from the Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), Savitribai Phule Pune University from 1995 to 1999. Dr. Santosh also earned a Master's degree in Personnel Management (MPM) from JDC Bytco Institute of Management, Nashik, from 1974 to 1976. Dr. Santosh obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Govt. College of Arts & Science, Aurangabad, from 1969 to 1973. Additionally, Dr. Bhave pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) from Pune University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Mumbai. Dr. Santosh also holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
