Jim Brooks has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. Jim currently serves as the President of BH Properties, a vertically integrated real estate investment company. Prior to this, Jim was the President of Topa Management Company, where they oversaw strategic planning and decision making for a diverse portfolio of properties. Jim also served as the President and CEO of Fifth Street Realty Partners, Inc., focused on opportunistic real estate investments. Jim has held various leadership roles at companies such as Urban Housing Group / Pacific Property Co., Empire Commercial Real Estate, L.P., Tishman Speyer Properties, Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund, and The Koll Company, where they were responsible for development, acquisitions, and strategic direction. Their expertise lies in identifying and negotiating investment opportunities, managing portfolios, and driving growth.

Jim Brooks has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from UCLA. Jim attended this institution for an unknown duration of time. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation from 1989 to 1990.
