John Mooney is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within both the private and military sectors. As the Director at BGI-LLC since April 2004, John has demonstrated significant capabilities in management and strategic planning. Prior military service includes various command positions within the US Navy and US Navy Reserve, such as NEPLO Region VI and Commanding Officer of Navy Reserve Commanding Officer, U.S. Transportation Command. John also served as Commanding Officer for both VFC-12 and VFA-125 SAU. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as specialized training from TOPGUN in 1997.
