Chong Tang is an accomplished professional in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology, currently serving as the Director of R&D and Vice President at BGI Americas Corporation since February 2017. Prior to this role, Chong was the Supervised Director of Product and Director of FAS at the University of Nevada, Reno from January 2013 to 2017, contributing significantly to the Nevada Single Cell Molecular Expression Core's biotechnology services. Additionally, Chong was an instructor for the Nevada iGEM team and conducted research as a PhD student under the guidance of David Schooley, focusing on guanylyl cyclase receptors. Chong holds a Ph.D. from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor's degree from Beijing Normal University.
