Nathan Thompson is a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer currently employed at BGC Engineering Inc. since July 2023. Previously, Nathan held senior positions at EGSci Consulting Inc. and Elkhorn Engineering, focusing on geotechnical consulting services that included design-build projects, geohazard assessments, and risk management. Nathan's background includes a four-year tenure at GeoStabilization International®, where engineering support for challenging geohazards was provided, and a significant role at Golder Associates as a Senior Project Engineer dedicated to infrastructure development. Early career experience includes work as a Project Engineer at Fugro Consultants, Inc., and a Graduate Engineer position. Nathan earned a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
