Arike Oke serves as the Executive Director of Knowledge and Collections at the British Film Institute (BFI) and is a Trustee Board Member at Iniva since January 2022. With extensive experience in archival and cultural organizations, Arike has been a Board Member of Archives Unlocked at The National Archives, UK, and a Heritage Committee Member at BAFTA since 2018. Additionally, Arike has held positions such as Group Board Non-Executive Director at Notting Hill Genesis and Managing Director at Black Cultural Archives. Previous roles include Collections Development Archivist at Wellcome Trust and Archivist and Project Manager at Rambert. Arike's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway, University of London, a PgDip in Archives Administration from Aberystwyth University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Birmingham.
