Dr. Jihad M. Boura is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in chip design, verification, FPGA development, and embedded systems. Currently serving as the Founder, CTO, and CEO of Beyond Silicon Solutions since November 2022, Jihad has previously held significant roles, including Chief Architect and Director of Engineering at IPG Photonics, where Jihad managed large-scale development teams and coordinated projects across various international locations. Jihad's academic contributions include a position as a Professor at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, teaching digital systems design, along with previous roles at Boston University as a visiting scholar and associate professor. Jihad has also founded multiple companies, including ATC-VLSI and ProQuent Systems, and held engineering roles at companies such as 3Com and Acacia Networks, showcasing a strong background in both academia and industry. Jihad earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Boston University.
