Hovanes Gambaryan has over 23 years of work experience in various software engineering roles. Their most recent position is as a Software Engineer at Beyond Limits, where they design and develops applications in microservice architecture using Java, REST, SpringBoot, SpringData, JPA/Hibernate, Postgres, MongoDB, AWS, and Agile methodologies.

Prior to that, Hovanes worked at the National Football League (NFL) for 8 years. Hovanes held various roles including Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Java Architect. Their responsibilities included leading a team of software engineers, developing backend services for NFL's platforms, integrating with internal and external teams, and managing access to premium videos.

Hovanes also worked at Dex One as a Lead Software Engineer, where they developed Java EE applications using Spring, iBATIS, and Microsoft SQL Server. Hovanes designed and implemented RESTful APIs, and worked on the Tomcat platform.

Before that, Hovanes was a Java Architect at Vantage Media LLC, where they developed Java EE applications on JBoss/MySQL platform and worked as the principal developer on internal software and Yield Management Platform (YMP).

Hovanes also worked at LinkGard Systems LLC as a Software Development Team Lead, where they designed and implemented applications using Java, JEE, UML, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, WebSphere, and Web Services.

Hovanes began their career as an intern at Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), where they worked on a data preservation project for Voyager I & II space missions.

Throughout their career, Hovanes has gained expertise in various technologies and frameworks such as REST, Spring Boot, Cassandra, Redis, Drools, MySQL, Vert, Twitter Streaming API, Microsoft SQL Server, JPA, Hibernate, SOAP Web Services, Swing, AWT, Applet, Servlet, and more.

Hovanes Gambaryan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge, completing their studies from 1993 to 1999.
