Martin Lessmann has over 13 years of experience in the education field. Martin began their career in 2008 as a Mathematics Teacher at Parkway Schools, St. Vrain Valley School District, and Whitfield Schools. During this time, they developed and implemented a flipped classroom learning environment, taught Advanced Algebra and Geometry, and assembled an interactive online course recommendation system. Martin also completed an administrative internship and integrated data analysis with student achievement to streamline student course recommendation and placement. In 2014, they joined Denver Public Schools as a Project Manager and Curriculum Coordinator. In this role, they coordinated the redesign, launch, and implementation of the Literacy, Mathematics, Career and Transition Readiness Capstones, and actively strategized with district regional superintendents and school leaders. In 2018, they started their own business, Lessmann Educational Consulting, specializing in competency development, educational data analytics and integration, project-based learning, and professional learning. In 2022, they joined Beyond Campus Innovations as the Director of Learning, where they partner with businesses, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions to identify their eLearning needs. Martin leads BCI's team of project managers, instructional designers, multimedia specialists, course designers, and videographers to create modern and engaging eLearning programs.
Martin Lessmann completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Colorado State University in 2006. Martin then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Missouri Baptist University in 2008. Finally, they obtained a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Missouri Baptist University in 2014.
