Amy Jane Upton is an experienced educator and examiner in the field of performing arts, currently serving as a BTEC Examiner for Level 3 Performing Arts at Pearson since May 2024. With a strong background in dance education, Amy has been the A Level and BTEC Course Leader at Bexhill College since September 2018, and holds various teaching positions, including Director at LAX Dance Academy, Teacher for Rambert Grades at Rambert, and Dance Teacher focusing on GCSE and contemporary dance at Benenden School. Prior experience includes being a Dance Lecturer at West Kent College and Subject Leader of Dance and Head of Year 9 at The John Wallis Church Of England Academy. Academic credentials include CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management, a Postgraduate Degree in Dance Education from the Royal Academy of Dance, and a Bachelor's Degree in Dance from the University of Chichester.
