François Derbaix has a diverse and extensive work experience. François is currently serving as the Co-founder and co-CEO of Indexa Capital, the leading automated investment manager in Spain. Prior to that, they co-founded and served on the Board of Directors for Bewater Funds. François is also a Co-founder and Trustee of Fundación Ayuda Efectiva, a nonprofit organization that aims to fund cost-effective charitable programs to maximize positive impact.

Furthermore, François has been an Investor and board member for multiple organizations. François invested in and served on the board of Bluesquare, a company focused on technology and data analysis. François co-founded Soysuper, an online platform for grocery shopping. François also worked as an Investor and advisor for Tiendeo, a growing website that combines digitalized catalogs and weekly ads of major retailers.

In addition to their involvement with technology and business ventures, François has been an investor and board member for Reclamador, the leading online claim management company in Spain. François was also a Co-founder and board member of Aplazame, a leading checkout lender in Spain, until its sale in 2018.

François has a strong commitment to civic participation and transparency. François has served as a member of the Advisory Board for Fundación Ciudadana Civio, an NGO focusing on transparency and civic participation. François was previously a board member for the organization. François has also been involved with other philanthropic endeavors, such as their role as an investor and board member for Deporvillage.com, which was eventually sold to JD Sports.

Throughout their career, François Derbaix has showcased their skills in entrepreneurship, investment, and philanthropy, making significant contributions to various industries in Spain.

François Derbaix earned their Business Administration degree with a focus on "Business Engineer" from the Université catholique de Louvain, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. In 1996, they attended the ESAN - Escuela Superior de Administración de Negocios as an exchange student, furthering their knowledge in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, François obtained the EFPA - EIP (European Investment Practitioner, nº30921) certification from EFPA España in October 2018.
