Lene Gjørtler Elkjær is currently serving as a Specialist in Strategic Project Development at Better Energy since June 2023. Prior experience includes a PhD Fellowship at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from October 2018 to October 2022, focusing on co-creation and local engagement in wind energy transitions. Lene's consultancy role at Divers involved establishing the project Boss Ladies in early 2018. Previous experiences encompass an internship at the Danish Embassy of Kenya within the Udenrigsministeriet, where tasks involved governance and health monitoring, as well as a student assistant role at Sundhedsstyrelsen, and an analytical assistant position at COWI. Lene holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Responsible Innovation and Wind Energy from DTU, along with various other academic qualifications including a Master's degree in Global Studies from Roskilde University.
