Samson Rapando is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as Technical Lead Engineer and Technical Project Manager at Betika since September 2018, Samson previously held roles as a Backend Software Engineer. Additionally, as the Founder and Poet of Budding Poets since January 2017, Samson fosters a community of aspiring poets. Samson also founded and contributed as a writer to Rolling Hills, a blog dedicated to fictitious poetry and short stories, from August 2021 to July 2023. Prior software development experience includes roles at USAID, where maintenance of health informatics systems was performed, and at Deveint Ltd, focusing on web development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Nairobi and an ongoing Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of East London.
