Kendra Gibbs M.A. is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications for the Office of Alumni Affairs & Development at Bethune-Cookman University since June 2022. Previously, Kendra held roles as a Media Communications Specialist at Prairie View A&M University and a Traffic Anchor at Audacy, Inc., where responsibilities included gathering and delivering traffic reports. Kendra also served as Urban Programming Coordinator at Music Choice, where content development and relationship building with MVPDs and record labels were key. Additional experience includes various roles at Cox Media Group, WPUL 1590 AM, and 99.1 LPFM, with a strong background in radio hosting, production, and digital content management. Kendra holds a Master of Arts in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from Bethune-Cookman University.
