Fanita Kirkland Lewis has extensive experience in various roles focused on executive support, program management, and career counseling. Currently serving as Executive Counsel and Program Manager at Bethune-Cookman University since June 2017, Fanita drives strategic planning and execution of university projects. Prior to this, Fanita coordinated career resources as the Career Resource Center Coordinator and Counselor at Eastern Florida State College, and worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist at the Florida Department of Education, providing career services for individuals with disabilities. Fanita's earlier roles include Administrative Assistant at the City of Cocoa and Executive Assistant at the City of Titusville, along with military service as a Human Resources Specialist in the US Army. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Liberty University.
