Peter Shorett serves as Chief Strategy Officer for Beth Israel Lahey Health, leading the initiatives to unify clinical and administrative services in support of our mission to build an integrated health system that will transform how health care is delivered in Massachusetts.
Peter has most recently been a senior partner at The Chartis Group, where he served the organizations that formed Beth Israel Lahey Health as a joint strategic advisor, playing a critical role in facilitating the merger and leading integration efforts. Peter also co-led the Academic Medicine segment for Chartis and has led numerous consulting engagements over the course of 12 years for the nation's top health systems and physician groups. His work has focused on enterprise strategy, mergers and acquisitions, physician alignment, and primary care development and design.
Peter received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his Master of Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Peter resides with his family in Brookline.
