Steve DiStasi is a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at BETA TECHNOLOGIES since March 2022. Prior to this role, Steve held various positions at LORD Sensing-MicroStrain from June 2008 to April 2022, including Staff Engineer and Engineering Manager in Wireless Sensing Systems, focusing on the development of wireless sensing systems for structural and environmental monitoring. Steve's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Vermont, supporting a Master's thesis under Dr. Jeff Frolik, and an internship at MicroStrain Inc., where customer-facing data acquisition applications were developed. Steve earned both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont between 2002 and 2008.
