Debi Ogunrinde began their career as a Summer Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company in 2014. Debi then worked as a Program Assistant for the Ideas for Action Initiative at the World Bank Group in 2015. In 2016, they were a Summer Associate at TSEF - The Social Entrepreneurs' Fund. Subsequently, in 2018, they worked as a Summer Researcher at Venture for Canada. From 2019 to 2022, Debi returned to McKinsey & Company, first as an Associate and then as an Engagement Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President & Head of Strategy, Operations, and Growth at BET Networks, a subsidiary of ViacomCBS Inc.
Debi Ogunrinde has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, which was obtained through the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business. Debi also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Wharton School, obtained through the same program. Additionally, Debi holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from the University of Oxford, achieved as a Rhodes Scholar. Debi further pursued a Master of Public Policy degree from the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford, also as a Rhodes Scholar.
