Dan Becker has a significant amount of work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Dan is currently a co-founder and the head of AI at Storied, where they are focused on creating a better way to write. Prior to this, Becker worked at DataRobot as the VP of ML Development Tools from 2021 to 2023. Before that, they founded Decision.ai in 2020 and worked at Google as an AI focused product manager from 2017 to 2020. Dan also held the position of Head of Product at DataRobot from 2015 to 2017. Becker's earlier experience includes working as an AVP of Machine Learning at EXL Analytics from 2012 to 2015, where they led a team of analytics professionals and worked on various consulting projects. Dan began their career as an economist at the Federal Trade Commission from 2009 to 2012.

Dan Becker attended Dartmouth College from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. Dan then pursued further education at the University of Virginia from 2004 to 2009, completing their PhD in Economics.
