Matthew Diley has over 20 years of work experience in various roles in IT and management. Matthew started their career in 1994 as a Plant Manager at KAO Infosystems and then moved to The Rutherford Institute as an Infrastructure and Applications Development Manager. In 1999, they joined CFA Institute as a Manager of Application Development. After that, they worked at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. as an IT Manager in Supply Chain Management from 2007 to 2014. Since 2015, they have been working at Best Friends Animal Society, initially as a Senior Manager of Application Services and currently as the Director of Web, Application and PMO Services.

Matthew Diley attended Capital University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, they pursued further studies in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at the same university, although the specific duration of this program is unknown.
