Ambar Parra has worked in a variety of roles in the Human Resources and Food Service industries. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and Human Resources Recruiter for Best Formulations. From 2019 to 2021, they were an HR Admin Assistant and Accounts Payable at MT Systems - Industrial Solutions. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Customer Service Supervisor at Neovia Logistics. From 2012 to 2015, Ambar held the roles of Outbound Area Manager and Shipping Process Assistant/Shipping Clerk at Amazon. Ambar also worked as a Head Pastry Cook at TAPS Fish House & Brewery - Corona from 2011 to 2012, and as a Pastry Cook at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa from 2010 to 2011. In 2010, Ambar also completed an internship at Tasteful Cakes, Inc. as an Intern.

Ambar Parra attended Le Cordon Blue College of Culinary Arts - Pasadena from 2009 to 2010, where they earned a Diplome in Patisserrie & Baking. Ambar then attended UC Santa Barbara from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a BA in Comparative Literature and Spanish.
