Courtney Cooper has been working in the creative industry since 2011. In 2011, they began working as an Art Director for National Parks Traveler, where they were the sole designer of the National Parks Traveler Essential Friends and Essential Park Guide quarterly publications since their inaugural issue. Courtney was responsible for producing all editorial page layout, selecting photography, color correcting images, proofing pages, and exporting final PDFs. Courtney also conceptualized and designed National Park Traveler house advertisements and media kit. In 2012, Courtney began working for Beson4 as a Creative Operations Manager and Graphic Designer. As Creative Operations Manager, they were responsible for coordinating and managing creative production for the agency and its clients, leading and directing the production of creative assets, working with account executives to identify client needs and provide service solutions, communicating project estimates and accurate timeline expectations, and ensuring that internal deadlines, timetables, and approval procedures are adhered to for assigned project phases. As Graphic Designer, they developed and designed creative branded marketing across multiple platforms, wrote and designed agency presentations, market research booklets, and client proposals, and assisted account executives with client research, project management, and account coordinating.
Courtney Cooper graduated from Appalachian State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Graphic Arts and Imaging Technology.
