Mariana Gaboriau has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mariana currently works at Bertin Technologies as a Biological Engineer and previously held the position of Field Application Specialist at the same company. Prior to this, they worked as an Ing¨¦nieur de Recherche at Sorbonne Universit¨¦. Mariana also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at CNRS and as a PhD Student at MARES Erasmus Mundus. Mariana gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the California Academy of Sciences, where they focused on climate space trends and their effects on species and ecosystems. Additionally, they pursued their Master's degree at San Francisco State University and worked as a Project Manager and Teaching Assistant at Universidad de Oriente in Venezuela.
Mariana Gaboriau has an extensive education history in the field of marine biology and conservation. Mariana began their academic journey in 2000 at Universidad de Oriente (VE), where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2006, they sought further knowledge and expertise by obtaining a Master's degree in Conservation Biology from San Francisco State University between 2008 and 2010.
Furthermore, Mariana went on to pursue doctoral studies in two different institutions simultaneously. From 2012 to 2015, they attended Pierre and Marie Curie University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marine Environment. Concurrently, during the same period, they also studied at Alma Mater Studiorum ¨C Universit¨¤ di Bologna, specializing in Biodiversity and Evolution and earning a second Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
