Alena Kuhlmeier began their work experience in 2009 as a Praktikatin and Werkstudentin at SAFECHEM. Alena then joined INTEGRA - Studentische Unternehmensberatung in 2006, where they served as an Aktives Mitglied and later as the Vorstand Akquise from 2007 to 2008. In 2010, they returned to SAFECHEM as a Diplomandin. Alena joined Arvato in 2010 and took on various roles, including Project Manager - arvato services solutions, Project & Account Management - arvato Hightech, Product Management & Business Development - SCM Telecommunication, and Senior Project Manager | Corporate IT. In 2016, they joined Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA as a Director | Project & Demand Management | Corporate IT. Alena later transitioned to Senior Director Growth Regions Strategy and Bertelsmann Investments and then to Vice President Growth Regions Strategy and Bertelsmann Investments. Alena is currently working as the Vice President at Bertelsmann Investments, starting in 2021.

Alena Kuhlmeier attended the University of Mannheim from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Diplom degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre (Business Administration).
