Marcia M. has over 30 years of work experience in the field of financial aid and student assistance. Marcia began their career in 1985 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they served as an Assistant Area Coordinator and Assistant Conference Coordinator. In 1988, they moved on to the University of Georgia as a Residence Life Coordinator. In 1989, they joined Appalachian State University as a Financial Aid Counselor. Marcia then worked at the University of Tampa as a Financial Aid Counselor before joining St. Petersburg College in 1995. At St. Petersburg College, Marcia held multiple roles, including Financial Aid Counselor, Assistant Director, and ultimately Director of Scholarships and Student Financial Assistance. Marcia M. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science/Psychology from Berry College in 1983. Marcia then went on to Mississippi State University and obtained a Master of Education degree in Counselor Education/Student Development from 1983 to 1985.
