Nathaniel E. Wilson II, known to us as “Nate”, is originally from the D.C. area and developed a passion for culinary as a young child after spending time with his father in the kitchen. Because of this passion, Nate has enjoyed over 30 years in the hospitality industry and has held positions involving almost every facet in fine dining. Nate began his career at Bern’s in 2006 managing the Harry Waugh Dessert Room and is now overseeing the ever, expanding spirits program here at Bern’s as Director of Spirits. In this role, he has spent time traveling to distilleries to hand select spirit barrels for special collaborations for both Bern’s and Haven. Nate is forever looking to expand his knowledge of spirits and dessert wines and is a Certified Specialist of Spirits.
