Till Omansen is a clinician scientist currently serving as a Fellow in the iDfellows program at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf, with a focus on infectious diseases. In addition to clinical work as a Resident in Internal Medicine, Till leads a Junior Research Group at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine, investigating Lassa fever's clinical manifestations and pathology. Previous experiences include roles as a Visiting Scientist at Johns Hopkins Medicine, focusing on drug development and tuberculosis research, and an internship with the World Health Organization, addressing neglected tropical diseases. Till's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Infectious Diseases and ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
