Amelia Nickles is an experienced mediator specializing in family and matrimonial disputes, currently practicing at Amelia Nickles, Esq. since 2004 and serving as Of Counsel at Berner Law & Mediation Group since 2008. Previously, Amelia Nickles held the positions of Associate and Partner in the Matrimonial Department at Morrison Cohen Singer & Weinstein, LLP from 1997 to 2002, and worked as an Associate in commercial and securities litigation at Orans Elsen & Lupert from 1989 to 1997. Academic qualifications include a JD from Columbia Law School, a Master's degree in Arts Administration from New York University, a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Georgetown University, and a Masters Certificate in Restorative Practices from the International Institute for Restorative Practices, completed in 2020.
