Ralf Kuerzdoerfer serves as Deputy Director at the Bermuda Monetary Authority since April 2018, overseeing risk-based supervision of licensed insurance entities and leading the development of supervisory and analytics initiatives. Prior to this role, Ralf held positions at Allianz Group, including Senior Controller in Group Planning and Controlling and Senior Risk Coverage Officer in Group Risk, where responsibilities encompassed financial performance analysis, business development support, and risk management across various operating entities. Ralf's earlier career includes significant roles at Standard & Poor's as Associate Director for Insurance Ratings and at Munich Re as a consultant in solvency. Ralf Kuerzdoerfer is a member of the Society of Actuaries in Germany and holds a Diplom in Wirtschaftsmathematik from the University of Bayreuth.
