Emily Smith is an experienced professional with a diverse background in real estate, service coordination, and business ownership. Currently serving on the Board of Directors at American Community Bank & Trust since March 2022, Emily has also been a Commercial Real Estate Broker at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Starck Real Estate since May 2011, specializing in commercial and residential property sales in the McHenry County area. As the owner of MLE Designs since November 2018, Emily provides staging services for residential realtors and helps create cohesive spaces for businesses and homeowners. Previously, Emily coordinated service learning and volunteer opportunities at McHenry County College from June 2009 to January 2012 and worked as a Customer Service Representative and Training Coordinator at Stryker from August 2005 to June 2008. Emily holds a degree in Consumer & Textile Marketing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
