Cheryl Boyer has a diverse work experience in human resources spanning over three decades. Cheryl began their career at Bank of America (formerly NationsBank) in the 1990s and later joined Allfirst (M&T Bank) as a Human Resources Executive, where they directed various HR functions and played a key role in merger transitions. In 2003, they became the Director of Client Services at Berkshire Associates, where they provided consulting services to employers on HR strategy, diversity, compensation, and regulatory programs. Cheryl then joined LifeBridge Health as the Vice President of Human Resources, leading initiatives that resulted in the company receiving the Fortune Magazine "Great Place to Work" award. Cheryl briefly served as an Interim CHRO at Good Shepherd Services before moving on to their current role as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion Services at Berkshire Associates. In this role, they are responsible for assisting companies in developing and monitoring their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
